What Our Outdoor Living Clients Say
We had a fantastic experience working with Nate and the team at S&D Remodeling on our new sunroom. Nate was responsive, professional, and clearly takes pride in his work, making sure every detail was just right. The craftsmanship is solid, and the space turned out even better than I could have imagined—bright, comfortable, and beautifully finished. It’s quickly become our favorite spot in the house. I 'd recommend S&D to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled remodeling team.

This company is AMAZING! They were initially referred to me by a company that produces covered screen patios to install one at my home. Nate and his crew did a fantastic job building the project - they are true craftsman with a commitment to excellent workmanship. It's now my favorite space in my house!
I also hired S&D to do an emergency exterior wall replacement on my mother's house to remove and replace a section of wall that was rotting due to water running into the wall. They did such an amazing job with the repair that you cannot tell an entire section of the exterior wall, siding and all, was removed and replaced!
Nate is professional, straight-dealing, and competitively priced. He was great to work with on both of these projects and made the whole process a breeze. You will not go wrong hiring S&D!

Outdoor Living Questions — Answered
Do I need a permit for a deck or patio cover in Georgia?
Yes — attached decks, pergolas with roofing, and covered structures typically require a building permit in Cherokee, Paulding, and Cobb counties. We handle all permitting and inspections.
What's the difference between wood and composite decking?
Wood decking costs less upfront but requires regular sealing, staining, and maintenance. Composite (like Deckorators) costs more initially but is virtually maintenance-free and lasts significantly longer. As certified Deckorators installers, we walk you through the comparison in detail.
How long does an outdoor living project take?
A deck replacement or basic patio: 2–4 weeks. A full outdoor living space with kitchen, pergola, and electrical: 6–10 weeks. Timeline depends on scope and permitting.
Can you match the style of my existing home?
Yes — we design outdoor spaces to complement your home's architecture, roofline, and exterior materials. The goal is always a cohesive look, not a space that looks bolted on.
How do I get started?
Schedule a consultation. We'll walk your yard, discuss your vision and budget, check HOA and setback requirements, and give you an honest project scope. No pressure — just a real conversation.
